Hi.  My name is Sheri, and I have creativitis.

In case you don’t know what that means, allow me to explain.  Creativitis is a term I “created” to describe my condition, which is basically that I feel driven to create.  When I get an idea, if festers in my brain until I finally let it out through my hands.

Over the years I have created a lot of crazy, fun things (mostly for family and friends) and I’ve finally decided to share them with the world.  I’m new at this blogging thing, so please pardon me while I learn.

I started out working with Roma Plastalina clay.  I learned to make molds for ceramics figures, and from there moved on to making latex molds which were good for plaster figures and cement statuary.  Then I discovered the scroll saw and started trying my hand at toll-painting and from there moved on to Intarsia.  Then I discovered polymer clays and I fell in love!  I particularly like the Premo brand, but sculpey has it uses for me also.

Along the way, I’ve also designed patterns in cross-stitch, plastic canvas, and lots of other miscellaneous things.  Some serious and some silly, but all have been fun to make!

I hope you enjoy what I have to share, and I might even give out a few hints about how I do things here and there.  And someday, if I can figure out how, I hope to be able to make the patterns for some of  the things I’ve done available through my site so you can do them, too.  Let me know what you think as we go along!

Thanks for checking out my site!  I hope you enjoy it enough to follow it.

Happy creating!!
