The Thanksgiving Holiday Bird is, of course the turkey.  Everyone knows that.  We don’t even need to discuss it.  But I do want to mention that this was the bird that started it all for me, as far as the whole Holiday Bird thing goes.  When I made this little bird he inspired me, and the rest is history, as they say.  I got a little bit bird-brained, and went a little crazy.  But for me, that’s quite normal.  So, here is my turkey:

Thanksgiving Turkey

He’s a bit uptight, as you can tell.  But I can’t say that I blame him, under the circumstances, even though we’ve had some serious heart-to-heart talks and I’ve told him that I couldn’t possibly eat him!

I think he’s trying to be friendly, but it’s not coming across so well.

Insulted Turkey

Oops.  I think I’ve insulted him.  So let me tell you about his particulars: He is 1 and 1/4 inch from tail feathers to tip of beak, and 7/8 of an inch tall.  So, let me wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you enjoy your……stuffing.   And Pie.  :)
